Sunflower Fields
Did you know that the Bowden SunMaze is one of Canada’s original Sunflower Mazes? That’s right, and there is nothing quite like the unique experience of navigating a fields of Smiling Sunflowers! The Sunflower Maze is usually open from early August until mid October, however, if you want to come when it is blooming, it is best to visit Mid August – Early September
We planted 5 patches of sunflowers this year, each around 2-3 acres. Our goal was to extend the bloom from 7-14 days to 30-40 days. Check out our facebook and instagram pages for up-to-date blooms. Ultimately the frost in early September will mark the end of the bloom period in the mazes, when that will come we don’t know..
Corn Maze
Our Maze is not the largest (usually around 4 acres) and may not grow the tallest, but it is the only Organic Corn Maze in the province and just one more thing to explore while at the farm.
Tree Maze
Our Willow tree maze is almost fully established with 25 foot tall golden willows arching over the paths. A Lilac Labyrinth and Cotoneaster Maze are still a few years away from reaching their prime
Wedding Ceremonies
Located close to the Sunflower Fields, is a secluded area for hosting your wedding ceremony. Typically we take bookings Mid August to Mid September coinciding with the Sunflower Bloom Period
